Brand new SSD Caddy for the Zbook Fury 17 G7 and Zbook Fury 17 G8. This allows expansion of the SSD system to fit 4x NVME drives (2 original standalone slots, and 2 more from this Caddy). This Caddy sits under the battery next to M2 NVME slots #3 and #4. Model number M22794-001, pulled from M20090-001 SSD Spare Hardware Kit.
All hardware to fasten SSDs, secure the bracket are pre-installed on the Caddy or provided with the caddy. The provided screws will be third party as this kit did not come from HP with fasteners included. No thermal pads or plates are included, but this is not needed since Gen3 SSDs do not require additional cooling. These motherboard connectors are also bandwitdh limited since they share PCIe lanes.
Please note this will only work in the Zbook Fury 17 G7/G8. We have a separate listing for the M2 SSD3/SSD4 bracket for the Fury 15 G7/G8 so please see our store or message us for more details.
